Rick Springfield Is Coming To The Quad Cities




Rick Springfield has been an actor and songwriter for decades, but above all, he’s a highly accomplished musician, and he’ll be bringing his hit songs to the Quad Cities in February.

First a member of Australian pop-rock group Zoot from 1969 to 1971, Rick launched his solo career with the single “Speak to the Sky”, which reached the Top 10 in Australia in 1972. When he moved to the United United, Rick hit it hard with his number 1 hit and classic, Jesse’s daughterfor which he received a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.

Rick followed that up with four more Top 10 hits, including:

  • I did everything for you
  • Don’t talk to strangers
  • Matter of heart
  • To love someone

Breaking into the acting world, Springfield starred in the film hard to hold in 1984, before appearing on shows like High tide and general hospital. In 2016 he starred as Vince Vincente, also known as Lucifer in Supernatural. He continued to play himself on various shows over the years and starred in an episode of american horror story.

Rick Springfield will bring his hit songs to the Rust Belt on February 26. You can buy tickets at the door or via The Rust Belt website.
