Delhi Capitals Opening Prithvi Shaw who had to be hospitalized for suffering from typhoid has now returned to the team hotel which will be a major boost for the team in the coming days if they qualify for the next round. The right-hander has missed the last three games after suffering from a serious illness but was confirmed to be available for the rest of the season recently after receiving treatment. The Delhi Capitals still have two crucial games in hand and Shaw’s return could be the team’s need of the hour.

With 259 points in nine games, Shaw provided strong starts for the DC franchise alongside David Warner and the duo also proved destructive. Delhi also struggled to find a replacement for Shaw at the top in his absence as Mandeep Singh and Srikar Bharat all missed their opportunities. The right-hander is quite aggressive upfront in the power play and can demolish bowling attacks as well.
