Background information

Please describe your personal and professional background.

Analisa Cordova Silverstein is a fourth generation El Pasoan. Her grandfathers were both WWII veterans, and her grandmothers were civil servants and volunteers in the community. Her mother is a retired bilingual elementary teacher and her father is a retired customs broker. She grew up across from Memorial Park, and her father served on their neighborhood association and parks board. She is the youngest of three, and witnessed her brothers contributing to El Paso’s brain drain exodus in the 90s. It truly upset her that so many young people were leaving El Paso.
