Manchester NH Suspicious Death Investigation Leads to Arrest – NBC Boston




A man was arrested in connection with a suspicious death on Saturday in Manchester, New Hampshire, near the New Hampshire Mall, officials said.

Police responded to reports that a person was shot between South Willow and Kaye streets on Saturday around 3.30pm.

Authorities have not released any additional information at this time.

Officers found the victim, Dzemal Cardakovic, 45, unconscious with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General.

Authorities have arrested Tyrese Harris, 22, of Manchester, and charged him with second-degree murder, police say.

Harris will face trial in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Manchester.

Video from the scene showed several police cars near traffic lights near the mall’s main entrance, in addition to a fire truck and an ambulance. A yellow police tape could also be seen stretching down both sides of the busy road, and there was a tractor-trailer parked in the middle of the scene. Authorities did not say if or how the vehicle was involved.
