What is “Demon Slayer?”

The show follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teenager who worked in his family business as a coal burner. One fateful night, upon returning from his business, he discovers that his entire family has been slaughtered by a demon while he was away. The only known survivor was her younger sister Nezuko, who was unfortunately turned into a demon. After the tragedy, in hopes of one day turning his sister into a human, Tanjiro embarks on a mission to join the Demon Slayer Corps. The Demon Slayer Corps organization that has been around for centuries and is dedicated solely to protecting humans from demons.

The show is consistently praised for its breathtaking visuals and powerful implementation of computer-generated imagery featured in the first season, turning every image into a work of art. Animation studio Ufotable responsible for the TV adaptation never seems to disappoint with its stunning use of CGI.
