Demon Slayer Season 2 Trailer Shows Off Entertainment District Arc and Mugen Train Arc – NYCC 2021

A new trailer for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba gave us a look at Season 2’s newest villain – Major Demon Daki – and more footage from the Entertainment District Arc and the Mugen Train Arc.

The trailer was released during New York Comic Con and arrived a few days before the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Panel show, where the English voices shared some of their favorite memories from the film and the series.

The Mugen Train Arc debuted today, October 10, and it’s a little more than just a retelling of Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train. It’s a seven-episode adaptation of the film that also includes “an original episode, 70 new scenes, new music tracks, new opening and ending animations, episode previews, and new theme songs. “.

The previously mentioned original episode is an “all-new story chronicling Kyojuro Rengoku’s journey after leaving Demon Slayer Corps headquarters for the Mugen Train”. It will also connect the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc to the Entertainment District Arc.

Speaking of the Entertainment District Arc, it is set to air on December 5, and the first episode will be an hour long and feature new theme songs – “Zankyosanka” and “Asa ga kuru” – from Aimer.

As for the Mugen Train panel, it included Abby Trott (Nezuko), Aleks Le (Zenitsu), Landon McDonald (Enmu) and Lucien Dodge (Akaza and ADR Script Writer) talking about lending their voices to the film and how the process was for them. In an interesting story, Dodge revealed that while he was writing the script for the English dub, he decided he would probably be the best fit for the character of Akaza, who had yet to be cast.

“So funny thing, when I was writing the English dub script for Mugen Train, I wasn’t Akaza yet,” Dodge revealed. “Now I will say, the way I write, I just run the lines a little bit to try to figure out, ‘Does it just flow? Does it feel like it’s flowing naturally from the character? Does that sound awkward?’

“I can guess if he needs to be changed if I imagine how I would play him. When I got to the character, I’ll say…and I’m sorry, that seems a bit conceited, I don’t usually think that way” , Dodge laughed. “I could not stop myself [think] writing the character, ‘You know, I feel like I could play this character, probably, pretty well.'”

Aleks then jumped in and shouted, “That’s what I said! I was a big Lucian Dodge fan! I remember I texted [Dodge]I was like, ‘Lucian, you should be that guy.'” The rest, as they say, is history.
