Casey Lund, owner of Collision Leaders (formerly Warrensburg Collision), was recognized as one of “50 Missourians You Should Know” in the August 2022 issue of Ingram’s Magazine. Each year, the magazine dedicates an issue to feature and recognize individuals who have paid “homage to people whose careers, businesses and core values change not only their communities, but also the state and, in some cases, the world.” “.
Lund has held positions such as mayor of Warrensburg, former president of the Whiteman Air Force Base Community Council, former president of the Warrensburg Economic Coalition, and former president of the Greater Warrensburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Lund serves as president of the Missouri Auto Body Association and is serving his second term on the Warrensburg City Council in addition to the various boards, commissions, committees and groups he serves on throughout the community.
Lund’s leadership, passion and persistence have also transformed his company’s culture. He empowers his employees to be leaders and through this he seeks to change the collision industry. He set out a vision that creates organization, collaboration, teamwork and inclusion – changes that have grown his business from one store in Warrensburg, Mo., to six collision centers across the central Missouri.
“I’m just trying to make a difference and lead by example to help improve our communities,” Lund said. “To be included in this group is truly humbling and an honor.”
