Autonomy’s Electric Vehicle Subscription Service Makes Washington State Debut in Greater Seattle




SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Autonomy, the nation’s largest electric vehicle subscription company, announced that it is expanding its geographic footprint to Seattle, Washingtonincluding Tacoma and Nice view.

Autonomy offers customers a cheaper, faster and easier way to get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle without long-term commitment or long-term debt.

“We launched Autonomy in California in January and quickly amassed a following across the Golden State. Washingtonians are already early adopters of electric vehicles, so it made sense to Washington to be one of the first expanding states,” said Scott Painter, Founder and CEO of Autonomy. “Affordability is what ultimately unlocks mass adoption of electric vehicles and range making it easier and more affordable for consumers to get into an electric car.”

Autonomy makes it possible to achieve from Seattle all-electric future. In 2021, the city released a city-wide electrification plan for 2030 with specific zero-emission mobility targets, including 100% shared mobility and 30% zero-emission goods delivery. washington state also set a goal that all model year 2030 or later vehicles sold, purchased or registered in washington state be electric vehicles.

With gasoline prices at near record highs and set to rise further $0.46 in Washington in 2023, Washington residents have more reasons than ever to switch to electricity.

How autonomy works:

Choose a vehicle, select your desired monthly payment, and start-up costs to suit your budget (with monthly payments as low as $490 and departures as low as $3,000)

Upload a photo of your driver’s license to determine subscription and insurance eligibility

Once approved, schedule vehicle pickup or delivery from the app and provide a credit card or bank account link for payment on departure

The whole digital process can take 10-15 minutes

Autonomy subscribers drive their car on a monthly basis for a minimum period of 3 months

Autonomy’s monthly payment covers traditional costs of ownership, including routine maintenance, roadside assistance (limits apply) and normal tire wear, which are typically additional expenses with a lease or a traditional loan. Eligible Autonomy customers will now receive the Autonomy subscription with its fully integrated insurance offering.

The cities of Seattle, Tacoma and Nice view have more than 2,900 public charging stations, of which 453 are free charging stations for EVs. The area also has over 400 DC fast chargers, 134 of which are You’re here Superchargers.

Autonomy will leverage its recently announced national partnership with AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), the largest automotive retailer in the WEfor vehicle preparation and delivery services as part of customer activation, as well as maintenance, repair and reconditioning services for Autonomy’s growing fleet of electric vehicles.

Today, Autonomy offers the You’re here Model 3 and You’re here Model Y and will add full soon You’re here range, among other brands and models. In August, Autonomy ordered 23,000 electric vehicles from 17 different global automakers, with the order totaling more than $1.2 billion.

Autonomy’s subscription model offers the cheapest, fastest and easiest way to get an electric vehicle, and it doesn’t require the long-term debt or commitment that comes with buying or lease. Autonomy subscribers can pay their subscription in full with their credit card or via their bank account. They have the option of subscribing month-to-month after a minimum holding period of three months. Customers can subscribe to an electric vehicle entirely within the app (Google Play Store Where Apple App Store) and customize their monthly payment to fit their budget. Plus, Autonomy vehicles can be delivered or picked up in weeks, compared to the six to nine month wait for a loan or lease.
